Where are studies covering suicide research and its prevention published?

In addition to suicide research being published in general psychology, psychiatry, epidemiology, and sociology journals, there are three main specialist international suicide research journals which are affiliated to different organisations.  They are, in alphabetical order:

Archives of Suicide Research (published on behalf of International Academy of Suicide Research, IASR)

Crisis - Journal of Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention (published on behalf of International Association for Suicide Prevention, IASP)

Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory (SBRL)

We do not provide a treatment service or advice for those in crisis. If you are in crisis or feeling suicidal we urge you to seek help from your GP, a key worker, or family and friends. You can also contact helpline services such as Samaritans (08457 90 90 90) or, if you are in Scotland, Breathing Space (0800 83 85 87).
